Then life said, “welcome Jerry, to the era of the Power-Pivot!”

So, there I was chilling out in the northern suburbs of Atlanta, GA, just over the Cherokee County line, enjoying the 24th year of my award-winning IT Support career when I decided that I had just had enough of fixing computers for lawyers and their respective staff folk. After a brief consult with my better half, we decided that I would “retire” from IT and pursue my dream of owning a small production company. I started out as an Events and Portrait Photographer, because that was something that I had experience doing and knew how to do. I did not know however, how to make a new Photography business survive a global pandemic as I started my “retirement” adventure six months before Covid.

Fast forward to the end of 2020, the end of my patience with stutter-stepping back into IT, and the end of our time in the Atlanta area. Once again, I consulted my brain-trust (the wife) and we decided it was time to move back to Colorado. We left Georgia for the Centennial State on April 20th, 2021 and made it back here with our two adult sons, two cats, and half of our stuff on April 25th, 2021.

Fast forward one more time. It is now May, 2025, and in just a little over four years, through a number of miracles and the Chapter 31 program of the VA, I am graduating with honors having earned my Bachelor of Innovation degree from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. I am also in the middle of editing the final cut for my very first film, that I am completing for my Digital Filmmaking Capstone project.

Check out here again in the very near future, as that film will probably be linked somewhere on this site. Thanks for stopping by and for all of you who support me and all the other independent filmmakers/content creators!
